A Midtown slice shop on Fifth Avenue near Herald Square, kosher dairy, and open late enough to matter. The counter turns out round and Sicilian pies, grandma and marinara, plus toppings that read like a second menu: penne alla vodka, baked penne, mac and cheese, Caesar and Greek salad, eggplant with fresh mozzarella, buffalo and barbecue cauliflower crust. There are calzones stuffed with broccoli, mushroom or spinach, garlic knots, mozzarella sticks and a short pasta list. Midweek it stays open until eleven at night, and on Saturday nights it runs through to two in the morning. Kosher Manhattan lunch, solved.
