Bravo Pizza (Flushing) – Restaurant

A kosher pizzeria and restaurant on Main Street in Kew Gardens Hills, doing both halves properly: a slice counter out front and a real Italian kitchen working behind it. The grandma pie gets a garlic-and-olive-oil Sicilian crust, fresh mozzarella and chunky San Marzano sauce; other trays run white, creamed spinach, marinated pepper, stuffed crust, even French fry. Sit down instead for penne alla vodka, fettuccine alfredo, rigatoni florentine or whole grilled branzino in garlic-lemon sauce. Garlic knots, mac and cheese balls and French onion soup fill the gaps. Closed Friday afternoon, back Saturday night. Queens already knows where to go.
