BROTHER JIMMY'S AT ICON PARK – Restaurant

A North Carolina smokehouse dropped onto International Drive, inside the ICON Park complex and open late enough to catch the evening crowd. The pit turns out Carolina pulled pork, St. Louis-style jumbo ribs, black Angus brisket and a dry-rubbed smoked half chicken, with combos for the indecisive. Starters lean big: humongous BBQ nachos, frickles, hush puppies with maple butter, jumbo chicken wings. Sides are the Southern roll call, collard greens, fried okra, baked beans, cornbread, macaroni cheese. Sandwiches include the Sloppy Jimmy and a grilled mac and cheese. Full bar, deep-fried Oreos, banana pudding. Southern hospitality, kept on tourist-district hours.
