Southern-style fried chicken, a drive-through lane and a menu that has barely needed changing since Bud Brinkman opened his first takeout window. The Royal Palm Beach store on Okeechobee Boulevard serves chicken by the piece or by the box, chicken fingers, buffalo wings in classic, honey garlic or honey barbecue, and fish sandwiches built only after you order them. Shrimp, clam strips and conch fritters cover the seafood end, and the corn fritters are what regulars actually come back for. The third generation of the Brinkman family now runs the company. Open from half past ten in the morning, daily.
