Fresh, antibiotic-free chicken, hand-breaded daily and fried to order, is the whole proposition at Bud's, and the Royal Palm Beach store on Okeechobee Boulevard has been delivering it for years. Choose a two, three or four-piece dinner, a chicken and shrimp combination, an entree salad, or the fish sandwich the kitchen builds only once you have ordered it. Corn fritters remain the house signature, crisp outside, soft within. Feasts and boxes handle family dinners, and buffalo wings come three ways. The Brinkmans have run this since 1957; the grandsons run it now. Open ten-thirty to nine, later on weekend nights.
