Buffalo Kosher Deli & Grocery (formerly Nissan's Deli) – Restaurant

Buffalo's only kosher butcher counter also runs a glatt kosher deli you can eat at, tucked inside the Tops International store on Maple Road in Amherst. Renamed from Nissan's under new management, the counter still slices corned beef, pastrami in beef, navel and turkey, salami, roast beef and smoked turkey by the pound. Sandwiches build from there, plus schnitzel, shawarma chicken, pargiot and a falafel plate. Salads and dips run Israeli salad, hummus, babaganush, matbucha, Moroccan carrots and chopped liver. Chicken lo mein, sesame noodles, knishes and wings round it out. Short hours, closed Saturday. Kosher groceries fill the aisles.
