CAFE FRANKIE'S – Restaurant

East Ocean Avenue in Boynton Beach, where executive chef and owner Steve Smith brought his New York habits south and general manager Ciro Tironi runs the floor. Thin-crust pies come twelve or eighteen inches, from Frankie's Old Fashioned cheese to a seafood alforno of shrimp, calamari and clams, alongside Grandma and upside-down squares. Starters mean mussels in red or white wine sauce, clams oreganato, rice balls in vodka sauce, and Amazings — mini egg rolls of broccoli rabe, sausage and mozzarella. Burrata beet and almond apple salads. Handmade entrees, classic subs and house-made desserts complete a menu built on consistency.
