CAFE GOURMAND – Restaurant
North Tamiami Trail in Naples, and the smell of a French kitchen reaches you before the door shuts. Cafe Gourmand makes its crepes from organic unbleached flour, organic eggs and whole milk, sweet and savoury alike — Complete, Campagnarde, Océane and Veggie on one side, Nutella, Suzette and Antoinette on the other. Croque-monsieurs, quiches, croissants, omelets, pancakes, sandwiches and salads carry breakfast and lunch. Dinner runs Thursday through Saturday only. Vegetables and fruit come from local farmers; cheeses and staples are imported from France, Belgium and Italy. Coffee, tea, wine and beer are poured alongside, and the room stays relaxed.
