Cafe Landwer (Williamsburg, Brooklyn) – Restaurant

Landwer's first New York cafe occupies the ground floor at 247 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, an all-day room that stays unhurried. Breakfast is the anchor: the signature eggs plate with chopped salad and skordalia, Jerusalem toast, croissant benedict, and pancakes under fruit, cream and maple. Shakshuka arrives plain, with short rib, chicken skewer or vegan meatballs. Hummus bowls come warm with frena pita; arayes are grilled pita packed with wagyu and lamb. Dinner adds a wagyu smashburger, whole branzino, schnitzel on challah and pasta verde. Rosalach, malabi and bread pudding close. Coffee traces back to a Berlin roastery founded 1919.
