Number 850 Ocean Drive, where the patio meets the strip and the dining room serves the same menu with less sun. Caffe Milano has worked this stretch of South Beach since 2004, opening at half past nine for breakfast and running to midnight, later at weekends. The kitchen is Italian with a Miami accent: tagliatelle bolognese, spaghetti carbonara, gnocchi sorrentina with stracciatella, crab ravioli in saffron cream, margherita and truffle pizzas. Then whole snapper with yellow rice and tostones, seafood paella, grilled Maine lobster, plus a Latin section of Cuban platters and camarones al ajillo. Happy hour runs every afternoon.
