CANTON LEE – Restaurant

Canton Lee works a storefront on SW 56th Street in west Miami, open eleven to ten every day and built for people who order the same thing twice a month. Dim sum is the giveaway: pork and shrimp shumai, har gow, steamed or pan-fried char siu bao. Beyond it sit crispy duck, Mandarin and Hawaiian duck, sweet-and-sour combinations, Singapore rice noodle and beef chow fun. Fried sweet plantains and green plantains share the appetizer list with egg rolls, lettuce wraps and fantail shrimp, a Miami tell. Pad thai and udon bowls round the menu out. Order ahead, skip the wait.
