Caprese – Restaurant
A dinner-only Italian-American room on the Topanga Canyon stretch of Chatsworth, set inside a hotel and open from half past five each evening. Start with ivoltini di caprese, layered tomato and buffalo mozzarella under a balsamic reduction, or grilled scampi siciliano in a lemon-garlic emulsion. Salads run long here: grilled chicken caprese, spicy shrimp and avocado, a light lemon plate of asparagus, broccoli and peppers. The Cucina Classic list keeps things familiar with lasagna classica, capellini pomodoro, spaghetti bolognese and chicken parmigiana. Panini arrive with a side salad. Diners return for the generous plates and unhurried pace. Reservations are taken.
