CARMELA COFFEE – Restaurant

Brunch runs all day at Carmela's Delray Beach cafes, which is rather the point, because nobody hurries you off the table. Both locations pour coffee from El Cuminate, the company's family farm in Costa Rica's West Valley, roasted in small batches once it reaches Florida. Mornings bring chorizo and mushroom shakshuka, bagels with lox and capers, and breakfast croissants with cheddar and bacon. Later come burrata and prosciutto toast, avocado plates, chicken and sweet potato bowls, Mediterranean flatbread and turkey-Swiss brioche sandwiches.
