CARMELA COFFEE – Restaurant

Delray Beach keeps two Carmela cafes, and both trade on one idea: coffee you can trace to a single farm, and food worth sitting down for. The beans grow on El Cuminate in Costa Rica's West Valley, then get small-batch roasted in Florida before becoming lattes, cortados, tiramisu lattes, chai tea and cold brew. Kitchens serve breakfast until midday, from shakshuka to oven-baked pancakes with berries and granola and breakfast croissants, then move on to rustic-bread toasts, keto bowls, quinoa salads, flatbreads and pressed sandwiches. Locals describe the rooms as easy places to linger. Neighborhood coffee, made with real intention.
