Calle Ocho's Spanish house since long before Little Havana was a destination, Casa Juancho still runs on imports: hand-carved acorn-fed Iberian ham, Manchego and Cabrales, fish landed daily. Tapas arrive in waves, from Iberian ham croquettes and grouper croquettes to grilled octopus over yukon golds, razor clams, garlicky Key West pink shrimp, and piquillo peppers stuffed with codfish mousse. Paellas are built on Valencian round-grain rice, alongside squid-ink rice and rice with Maine lobster. Whole turbot, salt-crusted sea bream, braised oxtail and prime beef follow. The Spanish wine list has drawn recognition. Homemade sangria, live music, an oak-beamed room. Reserve.
