A family-run kitchen on SW 87th Avenue in Miami's Westchester, Casa Kni cooks Cuban home food the way a household would, in plates it calls completas. Masas de cerdo come with onions and peppers; alongside them sit smoked chuleta ahumada, ropa vieja stewed with tomato and bell pepper, picadillo with green olives and potato, bistec de palomilla, chicharron de pollo, and fish fillet a la plancha. Sides run the full gospel: tostones, maduros, arroz moro, chicharos, frijoles negros. Tapas boards mix pork, tamal and croquettes, and the Cuban corn tamal is what regulars order most. Pizzas come family-sized or medium.
