CASA ZERU – Restaurant
Casa Zeru occupies the ground floor of Hotel AKA Brickell, a Basque-Mediterranean room of roughly two hundred seats indoors and out with a twenty-seat bar. The kitchen's lineage runs back to Mexico City, where Zeru opened in 2009, and it cooks the way the Basque country and Asturias do: North Atlantic seafood, produce from northwestern Spain, live fire, old technique. Whole fish go over the grill, and an entire menu section is given to socarrat, the crisped rice from the bottom of the pan. It was renamed Casa Zeru in late 2025. Dinner nightly except Sunday, lunch Thursdays and Fridays.
