CHACHACHA FUSION CUBAN CUISINE – Restaurant

Cuban rhythm is the whole idea at Chachacha, a Strand Boulevard dining room in north Naples where the bar and the kitchen work in step. Ropa vieja arrives slow-braised with two sides; vaca frita comes crisp-seared over black bean puree and sweet plantains. Beyond the classics sit rabo encendido, cordero al vino, tamal en cazuela and a mar y tierra of lobster, shrimp and petite filet. Starters include ropa vieja egg rolls and chorizo al vino. Mojitos come classic or in guava, mango and passion fruit versions. Desserts run to guava velvet mousse cake, tres leches and flan. Open daily.
