The Bakeshop by Adriana Alvarez is a Dominican pastry concept run by chef Adriana Alvarez inside Munch Labs, a shared-kitchen food hall in Miami. Alvarez trained at the Instituto Culinario Dominicano and at Johnson & Wales University in Miami, then worked in kitchens including Bachour Miami and the two-Michelin-starred Maralba before opening her own bakery there. The shop takes same-day pickup orders for artisanal desserts such as Basque cheesecake, mango cake, brownie cake, and Dominican-style layer cakes, plus breakfast charcuterie boards. Custom orders are built for weddings, birthdays, and christenings, continuing the traditional Dominican dessert techniques she learned early on.
