A strip-mall Chinese kitchen on Quail Roost Drive in south Miami, open eleven to ten most nights and half an hour later on weekends. Everything is cooked to order and priced for a whole household: pints and quarts of lo mein and chop suey, party trays of special fried rice, combination plates served all day. Look for honey chicken, orange beef, Hunan lo mein, crispy jumbo shrimp, cream cheese wontons and wings by the ten-piece. Every dish is printed in English and Spanish, plantains included. Counter service, a handful of tables, no ceremony, and two decades of regulars behind it.
