CHEF TAVOS – Restaurant

A Miami food truck built on Nicaraguan fritanga, working the southwest of the county and trading into the evening. The fritanga comes as a bowl or rolled into a burrito. Tavos caja frita is offered with chicken, steak or shrimp, and a stir fry runs the same three proteins. Chicken wings land with fries. Dessert is one item only, a fudgy brownie the truck calls Tavo's Slutty Brownie, and it outsells everything. Regulars talk about the seasoning above all else, and about a house spicy sauce they rate against anywhere. Delivery runs while the truck is out on its pitch.
