CHINA 1 – Restaurant

China 1 has held the same Brandon storefront on East Bloomingdale Avenue for years, and it trades the way a good takeout should: order at eleven, eat by noon. The kitchen turns out a wide traditional Chinese-American card — egg rolls and spring rolls, fried and steamed dumplings, crab rangoon, barbecued spare ribs, then fried rice, lo mein, mei fun, chop suey and egg foo young in every protein. House specialties and a lighter steamed selection round it out, with family dinner packages sized for three tiers of appetite. Weekends run late, to half past ten. Pickup and delivery both.
