CHINA ONE – Restaurant

Tucked on Bellevue Avenue just off the Daytona Beach mainland street grid, China One is a pickup-first Chinese-American kitchen with an unusually playful appetiser list. Steak cheese egg rolls, Chinese donuts, fried biscuits and krab meat rangoon sit beside the standard wonton and dumpling run. A whole section pairs chicken nuggets, chicken sticks or fried shrimp with fries or fried rice, which tells you who eats here. The mains go deep on chicken: moo goo gai pan, cashew nut, curry with onion, kung pao, hunan, honey and crispy chicken in garlic sauce. Bean curd comes Szechuan style or home style.
