CHINA ONE EXPRESS – Restaurant

An express Chinese-American counter on North Congress Avenue, trading as China 1 Express and built for volume: order, pay, go. Portions are sized by the container, with lo mein sold by pint, quart or jumbo and fried rice by the jumbo tray. Starters cover egg rolls, vegetable spring rolls, crab rangoon, sweet biscuits, teriyaki beef, dumplings and a pu pu platter for two. Then comes the long middle: Singapore mei fun, moo shu, sweet and sour combinations, hunan and Szechuan pork, seafood soup. Delivery runs alongside pickup. Egg foo young comes three pieces per plate.
