Colombian home cooking on NW 67th Avenue, open from seven in the morning until eight at night, every day of the week. Breakfast is the anchor: arepas stuffed with scrambled eggs, huevos al gusto with chorizo or bacon, calentado of rice and beans, bistec a caballo under salsa criolla, all served with cafe con leche. Later come empanadas, yuca frita, patacon with hogao, crisp chicharron and papas bravas. The bandeja paisa loads steak, beans, pork belly, sweet plantain, arepa and a fried egg onto one plate. Sancocho de costilla simmers short rib with yuca and corn. Pickup and delivery available.
