CHUCKS – Restaurant

Chuck's is a Port Charlotte mobile kitchen with a stated ambition to become a 1980s Southwest Florida diner — and, until then, a truck that takes its frying seriously. Tenders are hand-trimmed, marinated, hand-breaded and dropped in beef tallow, which is where the crust gets its old-school richness. The Crispy Chicken Sando lays one tender on a soft bun with Chuck's sauce and pickles; the Tender Basket doubles it and adds house-made sauces. Cajun chicken etouffee comes from a butter roux and scratch bone broth, over rice with garlic bread. Fresh mango guava lime punch is poured cold beside it.
