Cipriani Downtown Miami sits on the south bank of the Miami River at the top of Brickell, its bright nautical room a Venetian house transplanted to the water. The kitchen keeps to the family canon: carpaccio alla Cipriani, baccala mantecato with grilled polenta, veal tonnato with capers, white tagliardi with veal ragu, baked tagliolini with Praga ham, calves liver alla Veneziana, and wagyu ribeye tagliata. Cipriani vanilla meringue cake and tiramisu close. Downstairs, the lounge licensed alongside it, once Socialista and now The Living Room, runs late from Wednesday through Saturday.
