A Cuban-American counter tucked into Homestead's general-aviation airfield, trading Monday through Saturday from half past eight, with breakfast served all day. Cuban toast comes plain with butter or plated up with scrambled eggs and cafe con leche; chicken and beef croquetas arrive four to an order. The espresso list here is the real thing - colada, cortadito, cafe con leche. Lunch rotates by weekday: grilled chicken and white rice, tacos or pupusas, yellow rice, pork a la plancha, chickpea casserole, spaghetti, ham fried rice. Burgers, quesadillas and a croqueta preparada fill in the gaps. Smoothies lean guanabana, mango and pineapple.
