Set into the coral-rock arches of a 1922 landmark, this all-day cafe at the Coral Gables Golf and Country Club looks straight out over the Granada golf course. Bonjour French Bakery runs the kitchen, and it shows: avocado-and-smoked-salmon tartine, burrata tartine, eggs Benedict on brioche with asparagus, quiche Lorraine, Complete and Florentine savoury crepes. Later come lamb shank braised in rosemary and honey, beef bourguignon, cordon bleu and a salmon medallion with lemon-caper sauce. Croissants, pain au chocolat and Italian gelato hold the counter. Doors open at seven every morning; parking and Wi-Fi are free. Historic setting, genuinely French cooking.
