The counter starts with Chilean empanadas and yuca rellena, shrimp and seafood soups, chef and chicken Caesar salads. Then come quarter grilled chicken, chicken milanese and the house Miami sandwich, with lunch specials that keep the bill modest. Home-style cooking, homemade desserts, no pretension anywhere. Diners talk about the portions and the prices rather than the room. A working neighbourhood's canteen, comfortable in that role.
