COURTYARD FOOD SERVICE – Restaurant

Right on Washington Avenue, a block off the South Beach grid, this hotel restaurant feeds off the street outside and keeps two counters running: its own Bistro and a full Starbucks beside it. The kitchen sells itself on lighter breakfasts and dinners with cocktails after dark. Mornings bring eggs to order, avocado toast with roasted tomatoes and hard-cooked egg, a fried egg and bacon sandwich on brioche. Evenings run to burgers, a turkey avocado BLT and a modern Cobb with gorgonzola and green goddess ranch. Breakfast is short, done by half nine on weekdays. Dinner runs from five until ten.
