COVE CAY MARINA – Restaurant

At the end of Cove Cay Drive, past the boat slips, AJ's Dockside Bar and Grill sends plates out over Tampa Bay water. The menu leans piratical and seafood-first: local smoked fish spread under sriracha aioli, golden grouper nuggets, drunken mussels in wine sauce, seared ahi, calamari with banana peppers, and reel-and-eat shrimp by the half or full pound. Wings come ten or twenty ways, bowls arrive on coconut or Spanish rice, and lobster bisque opens the card. Happy hour runs weekday afternoons. Kayaks, pontoons and jet skis are rented from the same dock. Waterfront dining, minutes from Clearwater Beach.
