CRABBY'S BEACHSIDE PAVILION – Seafood
The oldest beach pavilion in Florida, close to its hundredth year on Bay Esplanade, run by one family for around sixty-five before its current operator took the keys. Breakfast runs eight to eleven; after that come crabby fries buried in snow crab and lemon aioli, bubble bread baked with blue cheese and parmesan, sesame-crusted ahi seared rare, house ceviche made fresh daily. Oysters arrive raw, chargrilled in cajun butter, or under roasted corn and cotija. Then Bairdi crab clusters, twin Caribbean lobster tails, grouper three ways. Handhelds run to a Maine lobster roll. Poke bowls for anyone who wants lighter.
