The clubhouse restaurant at Cross Creek, a semi-private executive course off the Daniels Parkway corridor in Fort Myers, keeps a proper kitchen rather than a snack bar. Dinner runs filet mignon at six or nine ounces, teres major steak with chimichurri or peppercorn bourbon, center-cut pork chops under gravy, half roasted chicken, meatloaf, blackened grouper and linguine scampi. Stuffed jumbo shrimp arrive with crab and a lemon white wine butter. Start with stuffed mushrooms, fried calamari or jumbo wings; handhelds include a pressed Cuban and a smash burger with confit onions. Happy hour Tuesday to Friday, Sunday brunch, closed Mondays.
