CUBAN COFFEE QUEEN – Restaurant

Key West runs on Cuban Coffee Queen, which now keeps five counters around the old town, one of them roasting its own beans. The coffee list is properly Cuban: cafe con leche, cortadito, colada, bucci shots, alongside cold brew, Cuban frappes and a turmeric con leche for the curious. Breakfast means the Key Wester, two eggs with cheese and a meat of your choosing, or a Cuban breakfast burrito, plus buttered pan Cubano. Sandwiches include the Jose Marti with mojo pork and the chorizo-and-chimichurri Shipwreck. Key lime pie closes it. Bagged coffee travels home. One counter opens at half six.
