A small Hollywood Boulevard dessert counter working in a Japanese register: airy chiffon sponge, less sugar, fresh fruit rather than frosting. Layer cakes come in strawberry, mango, Oreo, chocolate and a jasmine-cream version scattered with green grapes and crystal boba. Nine-inch crepe cakes stack matcha, Nutella, mango or durian. There is Basque cheesecake with a burnt top, Dubai chocolate mochi with pistachio and knafeh, and bingsu shaved ice built to order. Drinks run pistachio, sesame and soy lattes, tonic and citrus americanos, boba milk teas, yogurt frappes. Custom cakes and cupcakes are made fresh same-day. Open daily, eleven to nine.
