DANNY'S DELI – Restaurant

Family-run by Danny and Amy Saccullo, this Fishhawk Boulevard counter promises the biggest hoagies in the neighbourhood. The cheesesteak leads: shaved ribeye, sauteed onions, your choice of cheese, on a toasted hoagie roll. Behind it come the Italian with capicola and a house cherry pepper sauce, a Cuban built on pork roasted and shredded in-house, the Pastrami Ruby, the Fishhawk and a chicken Caesar. Chicken, tuna and egg salads go on sourdough, white, wheat or marble rye. Homemade soups rotate through the week. Weekday hours run ten to seven, weekends ten to three. Order ahead, the lunchtime rush moves fast.
