From Italy to Brickell, and the dough tells you so. DC Pie Co bakes thin-crust brick-oven pizza with never-frozen bufala mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and basil, no seed oils, everything handled by hand. Baked specialties carry the room: airline chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan layered with bufala, Angus meatballs with fresh ricotta, stem-on wood-fired Italian artichokes, sweet hot wings. Salads are unusually considered, from watercress with local pears and goat cheese to celery root and fennel shaved fine with spiced pumpkin seeds. There is a power-lunch menu for the towers around it. Reservations run through Resy, and catering handles pickup and delivery.
