DELICIOUS JEYMI – Restaurant
A Miami snack bar built on fruit and everything you can do to it. Jocotes, mamoncillo and a ciruela-and-mamoncillo mix come by the cup; mango turns up as a salad, as a mangonada, and inside the fruta loca that pairs it with cucumber. Zambos preparados and the biche twist fill out the board, with a gummy-candy corner for anyone small. Everything is cut and dressed to order, with the toppings, seasonings and sauces you pick. Doors open at half past one, Wednesday through Sunday, and delivery runs across the city. Cold, sweet, sharp and salty, all at the same time.
