DEPOT STATION – American
Beside Depot Park in Gainesville, a railway building that opened as a general store, bar and event space in 2016 and kept adding food. Goldie's Burgers is the kitchen: smash burgers, vegan burgers, po'boys, salads, totchos and kids' meals, eaten in or carried out. Boxcar is the full bar serving the whole station and the park beyond, pouring spirits, beer and wine plus a year-round slushie list, with upper-patio views and a gravel picnic area below. Casual karaoke takes the patio on Wednesday nights. A snack shack, an arcade and a putt-putt course fill out the rest of the site.
