DETROIT PIZZA JOINT NAPLES – Restaurant

Todd Stern spent five years working out a Detroit-style dough, opened in Cape Coral in 2021, and then rebuilt in Naples inside Shell Plaza on Preserve Lane. The pizza is the point: rectangular, caramelized cheese crust, light airy interior, red sauce ladled over the top, with white pies under garlic sauce and caramelized onions. Around it sit Detroit Coney chili dogs with a bean-less sauce, garlic knots pulled from pizza dough with garlic dip, and Caesar and antipasto salads. Desserts are made from scratch, hot fudge sundaes included. Sixteen seats inside; mostly carryout, delivery and catering. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
