DI NAPOLI – Restaurant

A South Dixie Highway Italian room in Miami built around a wood-fired oven, turning out ten-inch pies for one and sixteen-inch for the table. Rocco's Special piles on artichoke, eggplant, roasted peppers, mushrooms and garlic; the Florentine goes white with spinach, sun-dried tomato and goat cheese; the Puttanesca brings anchovy, olive and caper. Before that, fried calamari, mussels in garlic and oil, clams, and a caprese Di Napoli layered with prosciutto and roasted peppers. Pastas run to fettuccine alfredo, gnocchi in marinara and ziti arrabbiata, all served with garlic rolls. Calzones and strombolis for bigger appetites. Doors open at noon.
