DICKEY'S BARBECUE PIT – Restaurant

Out on Highway 71 in Marianna, this Dickey's runs the Texas playbook the chain has kept since 1941: meats smoked on site daily, sold by the plate, the pound or the sandwich. Brisket and pulled pork anchor it, with pork ribs, smoked chicken breast, Polish kielbasa and a jalapeno cheddar sausage alongside. The Westerner and Classic sandwiches come with a homestyle side and the Big Yellow Cup. Sides cover barbecue beans, cabbage slaw, potato salad, green beans with bacon and hand-cut fries. Pecan pie closes it out. Open every day from eleven until nine, with catering and group packs available.
