The ceiling is papered with retired T-shirt designs, the pinball machines rarely rest, and nobody takes a reservation. Five blocks off Duval in Key West's Historic Seaport, this is a deliberately scruffy neighbourhood bar with a compact Tex-Mex kitchen behind it. Crispy Dive Bar Tacos come stuffed with American cheese and a choice of seasoned beef or slow-cooked chicken; Texas brisket tacos arrive with poblano, Monterey Jack and brisket gravy; grilled combo and bean-and-cheese burritos round it out, each plate landing with chips, queso and salsa. Doors open at eleven every day, happy hour four to six, tacos until nine.
