DIVIETO RISTORANTE – Restaurant

Divieto Ristorante builds its rooms like a 1920s New York supper club, all dark wood, velvet, art-deco detailing, candlelight and deep booths, then cooks Italian food with an American accent. The theatre is tableside: the Ruota di Parmigiano, fettuccine Alfredo finished inside a wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano aged two years, and a forty-ounce tomahawk ribeye carved at the table. Elsewhere sit risotto al funghi with asparagus and truffle oil, chicken Madeira, lasagna alla Bolognese and a creme brulee. Full bar, wine list, cocktails, and private dining. The flagship opened in 2012 and the group now runs several South Florida dining rooms.
