Get there early; the wait on Collier Boulevard is part of the routine. Doreen's Cup of Joe serves breakfast and lunch daily from half seven until two, and the sourcing is the whole argument: cage-free Eggland's Best eggs, all-natural sausage from a Tallahassee family farm, pure Vermont maple syrup on every pancake and French toast plate, milk from a Myakka City dairy, locally roasted Kana coffee, orange juice squeezed in-house. Omelets, skillets, Belgian waffles, Eggs Bently and an Ole Mexican section sit beside a lunch card of burgers, tacos, quesadillas and salads. Outdoor seating. Reservations only for eight or more.
