El Manchego Restaurant has served Spanish cuisine from SW 107th Avenue in Miami since 2017, closed only Mondays. The kitchen runs deep on tapas frias and calientes, jamon serrano, fried manchego, and croquettes, building toward two paellas: a seafood version with shrimp, cuttlefish, calamari, clams, mussels and prawns, and a mixed paella adding chicken to the base. Flamenco dancers, singers and musicians perform Thursday through Sunday, turning dinner into a show, not a quiet meal. Reviewers praise the paella and fish dishes especially, even as consistency draws occasional complaints. Happy hour runs weekday early evenings, and private events are welcome.
