EL PATIO DE ROBERTICO – Restaurant
El Patio de Robertico was opened in Kendall by Roberto Riverón, a well-known Cuban comedian, who built a restaurant running food and entertainment side by side, with table service, bartenders and reservations for a full night out. The kitchen leans into modern Cuban small plates rather than a straight steam-table menu: crispy masitas de cerdo with onion mojo, malanga fritters, house-made croquettes, ceviche in leche de tigre, and stuffed tostones filled with shrimp or ropa vieja. A pan con bistec sandwich and baby pork ribs in sweet Thai barbecue sauce round out the heartier plates for a long, festive night.
