EMPIRE BAGEL FACTORY – Restaurant

This is where it started. Empire Bagel Factory opened on Marco Island in 1994 and still runs a shop on North Collier Boulevard, doors up at six for islanders and early beach traffic. The bagels are New York style and made fresh daily, crisp on the outside and chewy through the middle, in eighteen flavours from everything and asiago to black russian and cinnamon raisin. Cream cheeses, butter or Nutella go on top; egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches take bacon, sausage, ham or pork roll. Empire Blend cold brew pours alongside. A family business, three decades in on the island.
