Epperson Lagoon is the original MetroLagoons property, seven acres of Crystal Lagoons water in Wesley Chapel that anyone can enter on a purchased day pass, not just residents nearby. Fins Beach Bar, a shaded tiki bar on the sand, pours frozen drinks and cocktails; The Reef Cafe serves snacks, salads and sandwiches for a quick bite between swims; and a food truck stationed near Cabana Cove turns out personal pizzas, cheesy bread, jumbo wings, chicken fingers and hot dogs to order. Florida residents get a standing discount on admission. Live music and weekly events round out a full day out.
